empowering young people
Working with schools and educators
We believe that the key to being safer online begins with awareness of the issues that children can encounter in the virtual world.
The best way to create a culture of awareness is through education, and that’s where the Breck Foundation and your school can work together to empower young people and keep them safe. Our work includes educating them on the dangers of online grooming and giving them the tools to make better decisions and keep safer online.
We offer a variety of teaching resources for schools to use with all students in all the key stages including ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions so that you can incorporate specially designed lesson plans based around ‘Breck’s Last Game’ into PSHE lessons.
Working with schools, we deliver our presentations to staff, students and their parents. This creates an inclusive, collaborative approach to raising awareness about the dangers young people face through gaming and social media.
