supporting KS2

In line with Government curriculum guidelines, we use age-appropriate presentations.

We use Breck’s story to teach young people how to:

  • Use technology safely, respectfully and responsibly

  • Recognise acceptable or unacceptable behaviour

  • Identify a range of ways to report concerns about content and contact

In addition, we educate young people about the specific risks associated with online grooming through gaming and social media and empower them to make better choices to keep safer online.

For years 3 & 4 we teach pupils how to recognise the signs of grooming, but we don’t mention the word “grooming” at this stage. For years 5 & 6 we introduce the word “grooming” with a good working definition of what it means.       01883 621 102
