teaching digital resilience
We offer a variety of presentations enabling you to support your students and pupils at all key stages, to educate them around the dangers of online grooming, enabling them to make better decisions and keep safer online. In addition, we offer ‘Train the Trainer’ sessions so that schools can incorporate specially designed lesson plans based around ‘Breck’s Last Game’ into PSHE lessons.
Face to face presentations from expert speakers, who use age-related material and images, brings the important message of “Play Virtual/Live Real” into your school and gives young people the opportunity to discuss the issues and ask us questions. These interactive sessions can also be given to parents. Your school then has a platform from which you can develop an ongoing dialogue with your students and their families about online safety. The material can be adapted for you to use on your school’s website and/or intranet.
Train the trainer
The Foundation has expert trainers who can train your team to deliver teaching sessions about online safety within your school’s timetable. The time taken by our trainers to work through the material with you will save you and your team valuable PPA time. Booking a “train the trainer” session will provide you with all the resources and knowledge you need to deliver interactive sessions.
