- Kai, age 11.
“I learned all the signs of grooming and I think it was very helpful as I can tell my friends outside of school about it and feel safer. It was scary but I know how to be aware of it now.”

Our Founder & Trustees
Lorin LaFave
In 2014, in response to the tragic murder of her son Breck Bednar, Lorin founded the Breck Foundation. For many years, Lorin travelled across the country sharing Breck's story in schools, community organisations, and private companies as well as at many conferences, events and on major news outlets.
Lorin passionately believes in educating young people about how to stay safe online and is an excellent keynote public speaker.
The Trustees are responsible for setting policy, agreeing strategy and approving major commitments based on advice from Breck Foundation management. Day-to-day operations are delegated by the trustees to Breck Foundation's chief executive.
